The economic relationship that generates, to a considerable degree, under conditions of environmental uncertainty and instability require that high-efficiency methods be applied in the sphere of business activity management. The conventional management concepts do not prove their value any longer. Logistics is one of the most advanced science-applied fields. Today, logistics combined with marketing appears to be an optional system of economic management.

The goal of this term paper project is to consolidate and extend knowledge in discipline “Logistics” through solution of the task of logistic system operation management at the stage of distribution of products.

In the course of implementation of the term paper project the logistic system parameters have been identified. They are such parameters as advisability of servicing retail dealers (shops) via distribution centers, product delivery volumes, transport operation, product storing places and quantities, etc.

This term paper provides for selection of a transport carrier from the list of carriers, comparison of transport operation as part of the logistic system under the following alternative conditions: operation of the system without a distribution center or with it.

The final part of the term paper will be addressed to the development of transport traffic routes, schedules of joint work to be done by every group of people involved in operation of the logistic system.

This term paper project allowed to implement the methods of management of logistic system operation at the stage of product distribution, acquire practical skills as regards arrangement of distribution centers, choose a proper transport carrier, which is the most common task in the logistic system.
